Welcome to Amortentia! We're a unique personified animation site set in the HP universe. The second semester is in full swing, the Yule Ball is finished complete with our royalty poll, the Goblet of Fire ceremony has been conducted, and our champions for the Triwizard Tournament have been selected! The first task will be under way beginning in March. In the meantime we are wrapping up a Valentine's Hogsmeade Weekend and the champions are preparing themselves for the first task. The effects of an illegal truth serum finding its way into the punch bowl at the Yule Ball have rippled their way through the populace, resulting in the firing of two staff members and friendships made and broken. So fall into place and let your own stories unwind!
Animagus: turns into a wolf with same colored eyes.
Knows how to play a multitude of musical instruments
Landon is very much a man of action. If he's not doing anything, he'll get bored to the point of sleeping within minutes. He's brave, daring, and adventurous to the point of recklessness.
Landon is one of the most loyal people you could possibly meet. He'll go to the ends of the earth if you were in trouble, and stand up for you against all odds. He's not afraid of anything. He knows he's not invincible, but he's not afraid. He's the best friend you could have, that others look up to.
Ticking Landon off? Not a good idea. He isn't afraid to get his hands dirty, and if you mess with him or his friends? You'll be sorry. Not sent-to-St.-Mungo's-cause-you-ticked-off-Damian status, but it won't be pretty.
Landon has never known his parents. He only knows the name they gave him. They wanted him to be a hero someday, and until he was eleven, he always laughed it off. Landon Hiro. He was just a normal kid, not some hero. He was good with his life with his grandmother and younger sister in the burbs of London, waking up late almost every day, and hanging out and being 'the cool kid' to all the little kids at his school. They looked up to him, and were always in wonder of the things he did.
He had no idea that he was magical, that any of the strange and mysterious things he did were spectacular. Imagine his surprise when he got an owl a week before his eleventh birthday. Him, magical. Maybe he was some hero after all.
Being as the family he stayed with weren't magical (he'd later find out the word was Muggle), he went into Diagon Alley on his own, and found that one of his relatives before him was an Auror, and left an account in Gringotts to his kin. It was a pleasant surprise, to say the least.
September first found him barreling headfirst into a seemingly solid platform divider that he had to have past so many times before, getting on a train (on a platform that by all means should have existed), and going to the castle. Hogwarts. He thought there had to have been some mistake in that.
The hat didn't believe him. The hat saw his reckless bravery and his selflessness, and proclaimed him Gryffindor in a heartbeat. After a few days acclimating to his new house (so many stairs), and the castle (stairs stairs stairs), he realized Hogwarts wasn't so bad.
But a few months after, he received word that his family was gone. Kidnapped. Without a trace. Landon was devastated. He couldn't leave school, but now there was a drive behind everything that he did. He was going to find them, if it was the last thing he did.
Maybe he would become a hero after all.
Play-by: Okay, I tried to get as much of every Link as possible, but the main difference between the Links is age and appearance. Burkley Duffield is a happy middle for blonde shortie Link and tall brunette Link.
Name Shenanigans: Landon sounds like a cool name, plus that alliteration. Hiro is for the Hero of Time, and a nod to the wonderful game makers in Japan who created him, and Hylian is for Hyrule.
Animagus/Patronus: More Zelda related stuff. Link has a horse named Epona, which he had to go find through the course of Twilight Princess and Ocarina. The wolf is my nod to Twilight Princess, since (spoilers) Link is a wolf for portions of the game when he's in the Twilight Realm.
Wand: Beech: wise beyond their years. It works for link, since he is the Hero of Time reencarnated. Dragon Heartstring: powerful.
History: So, Link is an unwilling hero, until either a: his home is attacked or b: his family is taken. I decided I'd use his family from Windwaker, and they were taken after he left for Hogwarts. The treasure in gringotts is what the hero of time before him left for him.

For a game character with so little expressed personality, you did a wonderful job bringing about pieces of his story to explain his character better!
